I'm a new user. Very pleased so far with the plugin. Want to see if this is doable: I have an online gallery. Each slide has a piece of artwork and a "title card" next to it like in a museum. My goal is to make the title card an object that, on hover, changes color and, on click, opens a popup window with more details on the artwork. I would then like to be able to hide that popup by clicking a "close" icon or clicking on the popup itself. Every slide in the slider has those exact same functions. Thanks for your help.
Thank you for getting in touch with us! It is possible. You should set the title card layer transitions / hover transition to change the background color. You should add a specific class or an ID for this layer in the links & attributes tab. After that you should create the popup and set the slider settings / popup / open by click parameter to the given selector. If you need help with it, then please send me a wordpress admin temporary to your site and I will create you a demo solution.
Thank you for the access. I modified the COVID-19 Notification popup settings and set the open by click parameter to #openpopup and the target pages to include all pages. Now if you click to the original artwork title card here, then the popup appears. Please check it. https://jacquespepinart.com/layer-slider-test-1/
Thanks so much! I'm very impressed with your customer service.
One last question: Does the popup need be a separate element (as it is here), or can a layer within the main slider become the popup? It seemed you were saying that in your first reply.
You are welcome! Yes, the popup should be a separate slider element. It is not possible to use two different type(popup and normal) in one slider instance.
