I just bought Layer Slider plugin. I followed the instructions to upgrade it (since an older version came with my theme (Metro)) and ended up disabling and deleting previous plugin version. Later I uploaded the plugin file and enabled it. When I tried to activating the product using my license key, it bounced back saying there is a server issue preventing product from being activated and suggesting (A) Reviewing Layer Slider - Options - System Status, which did not reflect anything but product activation pending. (B) Deactivating themes/plugins and which I executed and received the same results. (C) Resolve with hosting supplier.
Before raising the issue with hosting supplier I'd like to confirm there's nothing else I can do from WP directly. I'm using a network site with only 1 site : ecommerce store with the list of themes/plugins included in the attachments.
Images in the pdf attachment show the sequence of error and alternatives reviewed.
I would appreciate your help.

With these symptoms, it's highly likely that there is a PHP error on your site. Knowing the exact error message can be extremely useful to understand the nature of the issue occurring on your site. However, WP ignores PHP error messages by default. Please follow this guide to enable the WP debug mode to make error messages visible.https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
Also, make sure that your web server meets the plugin requirements: PHP 5.3 or newer, PHP Multibyte String Extension, WordPress 3.5 or newer. Contact with your web hosting company to make the necessary changes if it's required. Please check it and let me know.
