What can we do to speed this up? I already tried these options without success: Use slider markup caching, Include scripts in the footer, Conditional script loading and Defer JavaScript loading.
Thank you for getting in touch with us! As I see you use lazy loading in your site. You should try to enable the Enhanced Lazy Load feature under the Misc menu of Slider Settings (you will need to turn on the Show Advanced Settings in the upper right corner first).
Based on the attached images, the Idle part has grown mainly(not the scripts), but when we open the page with us, there is no 4 seconds of loading time in several browsers. These browser tools should not be believed 100%, because if e.g. When the inspector is open, many times the page itself loads slower - which of course is captured by the browser. But if the inspector is not opened, it would load faster because quite a lot of resources are eaten up by this process. Loading your site without cache doesn't seem slow, no need to wait seconds.
Obviously it will load slower with the slider, that's for sure, since more js are loaded + program codes are running, but 2 seconds is not real, unless you load very large images on the first slide of the slider.
Hi,
My page loads >2 seconds slower when I have LayerSlider enabled, see:

Hi Kristof, thanks for your reply. I tried the Enhanced Lazy Load feature, but it doesn't have a positive effect as you can see here: screenshot
