Hi! I need the following function: When clicking on an element in the slide, a pop-up should be activated. When you click on another element, another pop-up should be opened. The pop-ups should therefore be managed centrally and shown via a click event. I would have to manage over 60 different pop-ups.
At the moment I only have one element, but I solve that with my own slider. But since every point is on 4 different views (north-south, north-east, south-east, south-west), I theoretically have to build everything 4 times. That is why I need pop-ups that I can manage centrally and can control from different angles via an event.
For an illustration, see the attachement - when you click on the colored dots, the pop-ups should open. Is there a way? Best regards!
You should add a specific class or an ID to the dots and after that you should create your popups and set the open by click parameter based on the given class or ID. For example you have a dot with "open-popup" class, then you should write ".open-popup" to the open by click parameter of the popup. You can read more about publish popups on this link in our documentation: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#publishing-popups
Please check it and if you will have any other question, feel free to ask.
I need exactly the same function but I can´t manage it. Could you please give me a hint, how I have to apply the dot in the layer. I didn´t make it to set the link to the pop up.
So far I have created a pop up with an open by click class. And I created a Slider with a button and insert the same class. But what do I have to put into the "ENTER URL" section?
Thank you for getting in touch with us! You don't need to use the Enter URL section for triggering a popup. You should write the class name which you use in the open by click parameter to the layer settings / links & attributes / class field. Please check it.
thanks for your answer. I tried it, but it still does not work. so, I would like to provide you accsess to my backend but I can´t put it in this topic as private content, so how can I provide it to you?
