Hi - I have layer slider bundled with a theme Enfold. I purchased your license but it's not clear how I can remove the theme-based version so I can upgrade to the newly downloaded version. No update appears in the plugin updates, as layerslider does not appear as a separate plugin. If I click 'check for update' in LS it just takes me to the WP Updates page, where there's nothing to update.
Thank you for getting in touch with us! The Enfold theme comes bundled with the LayerSlider plugin. If you don’t want to use it with your site, you can remove its integration with the theme from the theme options. Go to Enfold > Layout Builder > Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin
Ah overlooked that option! So, if I choose "Remove theme plugin only and keep slides" then upload the new version of Layer Slider, will it recognise my slides and all will be well - or will I need any further steps? I don't want to have to rebuild the sliders!
