I've built a slider which has some text that slides in to start with (using an Opening text transition) and then fades out (using a Ending text Transition).
At the moment the Ending Transition is set to start when the "Opening text and loop transitions complete" but what I'd like to know is whether there's a way to have it so the Ending Transition only starts when someone starts to scroll down the page?
So in essence, the text will slide in and stay there until someone scrolls down at which time as the slider disappears from the screen the text transition will start to happen.
If you could let me know how I could achieve the above.
FYI - I have included the page I'm looking for this to happen on but am currently working on the page so the slider may be at various stages in development.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to connect the start of the ending transition with a scroll down interaction. Maybe you should try the play by scroll effect, but it doesn't the same, because the user can scroll down after the transition has ended.
Thanks for your email. Hmmm . . . OK, tbh it took me a while to get the "play by scroll" thing to happen (seems quite glitchy on my mac / browser, maybe it's better on a brand new mac and browser, but I wouldn't say I'm too out of date!)
Is there a way to apply that feature to just one of the layers in the slider rather the complete slider?
Also, would be interested to import the example "play-by-scroll" slider (on that page) so I can see the settings that created it? Is that possible? Is it in one of the importable templates?
OK, will keep fiddling around and see if i can get more familiar with the intricacies of Layer Slider
Unfortunately, it is not possible to apply the play by scroll feature to only one layer in the slider. Yes of course, you can import it from the template library, the name of the slider is "Play By Scroll demo".
