Thank you for getting in touch with us! I tried to reproduce the issue on my Iphone but the close button works properly. Did you solve this problem? If not, which browser / mobile / system do you use for testing? Thank you, in advance.
I did temporarily solve the problem with a workaround. I created 3 different sliders for the shield pop up- one for each device- desktop, tablet and mobile phone. Each would only be present on the particular device. Spent hours trying to figure out why I couldn't touch or click to link or close. Through trial and error, it appears that all pop ups are present on all devices, but just don't show. So on a Mobile Phone screen, the Tablet pop up covered the visible pop up and touching it would show the outline/border of the Tablet pop up with no linking. This started happening on the Desktop also. To fix it I deleted the Tablet pop up so now I can click on the Desktop and Mobile. The reason I need all 3 is because the pop up is a different size and position on each device. Wish I could use one popup to show up the same on all 3 screens. Is this a bug, or is there a config I am missing?
Thank you. The desktop popup configuration is correct. The size on mobile is not a bug, it is the optimal operation. The popup is responsive and readable in mobile, while your mobile popup is hardly readable. I suggest you to use the desktop popup on every device, and if you would like to reduce the size in mobile you should increase the popup settings / distance left to 250px for example. Please check it.
Kristof, if I use the desktop popup on mobile, it is too large and takes up too much of the screen. My problem is- form my original question, why does the popup present on a different device (like tablet) cover the popup on another device (like desktop)? This shouldn't be occurring.
As I see in your popups configuration, you hide the layers on specific devices, but if you would like to hide the whole popup, you should set the Slider settings / Mobile / Hide under or over option.
You should try the trick which I mentioned in my previous message, with increase the distance left value.
The custom close button on my Layerslider popup works on desktop and tablet but not on mobile. Tapping it on any phone will not close the pop up.
Thanks for your prompt reply!
