I have just updated to the latest version of Layer Slider for Wordpress.
However when the sliders animate to the next slide the vertical scroll bar on Chrome, Safari and Firefox appears and then disappears which changes the whole appearance of the complete page, shifting everything to the left as the scroll bar appears. This does not look good from a users point of view.
Is there a fix to stop this from happening - ie keeping the scroll bar visible or invisible but not jumping between states as the slides animate/transition?
Thank you for getting in touch with us! Probably it cause by an overflow issue. You should set the Slider settings / Layout (show advanced settings) / Other settings / Clip slide transitions to hide on both axis. Please check it.
Thank you, it works. I set the Slider settings / Layout / Clip side transitions to Hide on both axis and disable the prevent slider clipping and it solve the issue. Please check it.
I cleared the cache and retried it on different browsers and it's fine on an iMAC Chrome, Safari, Fiorefox, but is still doesn't work on MacBook Chrome, Safari, Firefox and on PC Edge, Chrome, Firefox.
I restarted the laptop and the PC but still the same.
I reinstalled w3 total cache and purged cache from the whole site, and uninstalled it (as it breaks the site currently)
Are these two devices somehow holding onto the cache even when I've cleared them from each browser?

Hi Kristof
Thanks for that.
I cleared the cache and retried it on different browsers and it's fine on an iMAC Chrome, Safari, Fiorefox, but is still doesn't work on MacBook Chrome, Safari, Firefox and on PC Edge, Chrome, Firefox.

So I'm not sure what's wrong?
Thanks
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your feedback!
How can I disable the right click protection? I didn't find it in your theme settings.

Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your feedback!
I am glad that the problem has been solved. The issue caused by the theme?

Hi. I'm not sure as the issue only occurred after installing the latest version of the Layer Slider.
The CSS code that solved the problem was:
/* Vertical scrollbar jumping */
#ls-global {
overflow: visible !important;
}
Cheers
Andrew
