Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Hello,
We have purchased the layerslider plugin for wordpress. So far great plugin, so much customization options.
Now we would like to edit the slider data inside our page using wordpress Customization API.
For example we created origami slider using plugin UI on wordpress and inserted the generated shortcode inside one of our posts. Then after the page loads we see the HTML code of the slider. We would like to edit this data using wordpress customizer api. We want to achieve some kind of editation to sliders after page load without going inside plugin UI.
We already have part of customizer ready but we couldn't find appropriate function/hook for changing specific parts of specific sliders.
If you would be so kind to point us to right direction. Which function (WP hook) to use to change parts of sliders and if so with examples ?
Thank you kindly!
Martin
Hello Martin,
Thank you for getting in touch with us!
The Customization API was invented for WordPress themes. LayerSlider does not offer any such integration and to our knowledge it would not be possible. However, there are many page builder support for LayerSlider such as Gutenberg, Elementor, etc. where you can play embedded sliders. You can read more about them in our documentation page:
https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#publishing-sliders
If you will have any other question, feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
