Hello, I've tried to read through your documentation but I haven't found how to have one layer which stays on top and is consistent through all the slides. Is it possible to create one text or html layer that is constant, doesn't fade or transition while the slides are running?

The essence of this feature is that, the layer will animate in once and after that it will be visible in every slide. You can set it in the Layer settings / Transitions / Other settings / Keep this layer visible -> Forever(the layer will never animate out).
