Never had a problem with previous releases of LayerSlider. Tonight, updated to WordPress v5.4 and LayerSlider 6.11.1... then the slider on the top of the Related URL (gvarvas.com) page stopped showing up. So, what is that all about?
Thank you for getting in touch with us! You should try to enable the LayerSlider WP -> Options -> Advanced -> Include scripts in the footer and purge your caches. Please check it and if it doesn't solve this issue, send me a wordpress admin temporary to your site. Thank you, in advance.
Thank you for your feedback! I checked your site again and there is a js error in the console which can cause this issue. You should fix the issue in the main.js and after that the slider should work again. If it doesn't solve your problem, please let me know.
Not sure how either the update of a WordPress release or LayerSlider release should have caused this. Where would I go to fix the main.js issue? And, what would I change?
Let's go back to the beginning with this problem. WordPress was updated automatically to version 5.4. In conjunction with it, I saw that LayerSlider 6.11.1 was available which was advertised to fix a problem where sliders were not showing up under 6.11... which was not happening to me... but I went ahead anyway to keep your release in synch with WordPress. There were updates to Themes also but none which are used in our installation (we use a Child version of Avada). In taking a look at the Themes folders, no updates have been made to any files much less main.js since 2016... about the same time we made changes to the Home Slider except for a few new slides a year ago.
As a licensed user, I think that Kreatura should be the one making fixes to whatever got broken when WordPress v5.4 and LayerSlider 6.11.1 were updated. As I noted before, LayerSlider wasn't broken when WordPress v5.4 was installed but LayerSlider 6.11.1 not yet installed. Is that a clue to what might be the problem?
Thank you for your feedback! The issue probably caused by the javascript error on your site, which is not related to the slider. After you update the slider, the init code and the script location have changed and unfortunately it doesn't run due to the error. You should fix the code in the main.js file (line 1349): http://gvarvas.com/wp-content/themes/Avada/js/main.js Change href=# to href="#" and it should solve this problem. If you don't succeed with it, please send me an access and I will fix it. When I tried to login to your wp-admin I got this error: There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. Please check it. Thank you, in advance.

It still isn't working. I have then reset everything back to the way I found it (i.e. without the scripts in the Footer turned on).
Go to http://gvarvas.com/wp-admin/ and login with Kristof and a password of kRISTOF2020@@@.
Let me know what you find is wrong.
Also, the slider that I am working with is Home Slider. It should appear at the top of the Home Page to gvarvas.com.

Hello Steve,
Did you update your theme too? Maybe it cause this issue.
You should check the main.js in your themes directory:
wp-content/themes/Avada/js/main.js
If you don't succeed with fixing it, you should contact with the developers of the Avada theme about this issue.
