Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
The text on the home top slider is not resizing on the mobile version of the website. It was before I made all the updates with WordPress
Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us!
Could you please send me a Wordpress admin to your site or export your home slider? I would like to check the configuration. Thank you, in advance.

Hello Helen,
Thank you for the access. I checked your site and as I see the issue caused by a css code by Fusion which overwrite the slider font-size values. Please check the attached video:
https://www.loom.com/share/6ace84213acf4ff8ba0f75594039dcd3
I changed the 'One of Illawarra's largest private health practices' layer type to html and it solve this problem.
Please check it.

Hi Kristof,
I don't know how you open this window to make the changes, so that I can do this, the text is now too small to read. I watched the video but I don't know how you opened the code underneath to make the changes.
Kind Regards
Helen
Hello,
You can reach the elements in the browser with right click -> Inspect.
I created a copy about your main slider and modify the original. I changed your layers to HTML so now the Fusion builder css will not overwrite the font-sizes. You can set min.mobile font size to the layers in the styles tab, or you can create a separate text layer for mobile(as I see you tried it).
I set the images to background images instead of use them as a layer. You can select slide transitions for the background-images.

Please check it.

Hi Kristof
I have looked at your reply. The mobile version was still doing strange things, okay on the desktop but the mobile wasn't changing or updating and I had overlapping text. I have started again with a brand new slider called NEW HOME SLIDER, now the only slide that is showing is the first one - no text, I have tried going using the change device view buttons, the green buttons to show certain layers but nothing is happening. The mobile is not showing the same as the desktop.
I have always been happy with layer slider and have used it on many sites, but I am thinking of changing to another plugin of this doesn't work.
Kind Regards
Helen
Hello Helen,
It is difficult to optimize a slider for desktop and mobile too. I suggest you to create a separate slider for mobile, instead of use the same slider in every device.
You should make a copy about your original slider and set the hide over/under options in the Slider settings / Mobile settings tab. After that you should reduce the canvas width and height, change the type to full-size in the Slider settings / Layout tab, then you should modify your layer setting.
If you will have any question or do you need help with the configuration, please let me know.
