This slider was working properly a few days ago and now it is not sliding, it gets stuck on the cover image. I have tried to recreate the slider which is one of the ones that comes as a template.
On this link I turned the cover image off, I wouldn't mind that but it shows a black screen and I would like it to start with the image only for a few seconds (like on the main website)
Thank you for getting in touch with us! There seems to be a Greensock conflict on the page, it causing this error. There is most likely another item/plugin trying to use Greensock, but does not provide compatibility, thus the issue. Please try to use the LayerSlider WP -> Options -> Advanced -> Include scripts in the footer and Use Greensock (GSAP) sandboxing options to see if they help. If it doesn't solve the issue, I suggest you to disable the Revolution Slider plugin.
Did you mean by the first photo is this? https://erwinelectric.com/wp-content/uploads/erwin-largee.png You can edit the transition starting time in the Image Layer / Transitions / Timing and transform / Start at option. If you will have any other question, feel free to ask.
Can you take a look at the attached? it is actually the cover image the one I want to update. I tried playing around with the timing already but it does not fix the timing issue. Could you let ,me know the exact numbers to input?
I checkedi t. As I see the start is 0ms. It is not possible to reduce the transition start time so it based on that your website loads the slider and downloads the image. You should try to compress your images to increase the speed. I suggest you to try one of these tools: https://compressor.io/ https://tinyjpg.com/ https://tinypng.com/

thank you for that, the last question I have is, can you let me know where I would change the amount of time the first photo shows up for?
at the moment it is there for 3 to 4 seconds, I want it to only be on for 1 to 2 seconds..
thank you
Hello,
Could you please send me a Wordpress admin to your site and the slider ID? I would like to check the slider configuration. Thank you, in advance.

It is my client's site, I don't feel comfortable giving away their logins. But the template is this one (the first one of the pack):
