I downloaded the beauty shop template from your store and was attempting to customize the borders. the border color is set with HTML but I have not been successful in changing the border color.
can you provide me with an example of the html that is needed to change the border color?

What border do you mean exactly? The beauty demo slider does not have any custom CSS or HTML code applied on it by default, as far as I know.
That is an empty HTML layer and the following code is added to its custom CSS field: border: 20px solid #fde0e5;
You can edit this to change the color and size of this border. Changing the pixel value will change its size. And adding a different color code will change its color. You can just use the color picker further down below to get the color code you need and replace it in the code.

The beauty shop template has an HTML layer called "pink overlay" please view attachment. this layer controls the border color of the frame.
Thank you for the feedback.
