Limited availability during the holidays

I purchased Greenova theme from themeforrest awhile ago. Fell in love with LayerSlider <3
Today I purchased the premium version and received my 'ACTIVATION' code. Every time I try and activate it comes back with a 'Bad Request' (see screenshot).
I really want the premium features. Where do I go from here?
What I checked...
1. website running on php 7.3 (tried other versions as well)
2. updated all plugins and theme
3. activated basic themes
4. deactivated all plugins
5. edited wp-config, increased memory limit
6. edited .htaccess file with php version
7. uninstalled LayerSlider and reinstalled
Looking forward to getting things working properly.
FYI LayersSlider works flawlessly on my site besides the activation issue.

I figured it out. It was a compatibility issue with the Greenova theme. Disabled the core plugin and deleted all traces of LayerSlider and reinstalled. Works like a charm now.
