Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Hi, I just updated to V.6.10.2 and my slider on the page at https://powderandpearls.co.uk/wedding-photo is taking forever to load. Is this a known issue or is there some way to speed things up?

    Many thanks,

    Hello Tracey,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I've checked your site, but the slider is immediately loaded. The problem is that the first slide is completely empty, that is why it looks blank. So the first content that appears is the second slide, which takes some seconds. You will either need to delete the first empty slide, or fill it with content.

Hey Attila, thanks for getting back to me. I'm a little confused as the first slide isn't blank. Please see the screen shot from the "editing slider" page.

    Thank you for the feedback.

As I can see it's fine on the admin, but on the front-end the images are missing from the first slide.

At least two images are getting an error on your site and cannot be loaded. They are called Tasha-and-Dan-239.jpg and Epic.jpg. Are these the ones missing from the first slide? If yes, please check on their sources or upload them again.

Please also try to re-add the images to the first slide and verify that they are still available.

Let us know of the results.

Thanks Attila, that's been very helpful indeed. Oddly, the slider refuses to display the first image even though I have re-uploaded the file and it has worked fine before. For the time being, I have deleted the slide, but do you know of any reason it won't display?

    Thanks again.

    Thank you for the feedback.

The only problem I saw with the first slide was with its content (the image not able to load).

Could you please test it out with a different image on that first slide to see if that loads? Or try to use that image on a different slide to see if it appears there?
