Hello. My live site is on https://thailandproperty-hh.com/ and my dev site is on http://dev.thailandproperty-hh.com/. I was promised by Layer Slider pre-sales support that with a single purchase code, I could activate the plugin on both sites, and be able to install updates automatically on both sites. I have purchased a license, and added the purchase code to both sites. Both sites indicate, "Activated" (screenshots). But only my live site is showing that automatic updates are available for the plugin--the dev site indicates automatic updates are unavailable (screenshots). How can I resolve this?
The sites in-question are WordPress multi-site installations.
Your dev site has to fall under one of these criterias to be considered a development environment and be able to get activation and auto-updates from the same license: IP address no TLD (e.g. localhost, local, etc.) the TLD or subdomain has a typical name (e.g. dev, test, local, stage, staging, etc.) on a whitelist (e.g. *.staging.wpengine.com) Also, subdomains and individual sites in a WP Multisite environment are considered different domains/sites.
You could also just temporarily move your license from one installation to the other to grab the update, and then add it again to the main site.

As I mentioned, my dev site is on: http://dev.thailandproperty-hh.com/. Doesn't this qualify as a 'development environment?' I was promised by pre-sales support that it would. I can share that email with you if you'd like.

I was promised by pre-sales support that I would be able to update the plugin on both sites, automatically, with a single purchase code. I would very much like to do that. Moving the license around, or manually updating, is something I was explicitly promised I would not have to do.
Version 6.9.2 is almost half a year old now. We've released multiple updates (latest one today) since then, containing several improvements and fixes. Including better compatibility with the new WordPress versions, and plugin reworks as we've left Envato.
First, please remove both plugin activation from the two sites, and then enter them again. This might just be related to a stuck activation and the plugin not recognizing the license properly.
In case the problem persists even after that, please use one of the methods described in the previous response to get the newest version. There should be no problem with that.
Yes I know. I was specifically promised by pre-sales support that I could update to v6.9.2, then automatically update to the most recent version.
Before I could try any of your suggestions, I checked the plugins page on both my dev site and live site. This time, the automatic update link was present on both. I used it, and updated the plugin automatically to the latest version.
It's a little annoying that the issue occurred. But I'm happy that automatic updates are indeed possible on both sites, and seemingly working.

Hello Carl,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Your dev site has to fall under one of these criterias to be considered a development environment and be able to get activation and auto-updates from the same license:
IP address
no TLD (e.g. localhost, local, etc.)
the TLD or subdomain has a typical name (e.g. dev, test, local, stage, staging, etc.)
on a whitelist (e.g. *.staging.wpengine.com)
Also, subdomains and individual sites in a WP Multisite environment are considered different domains/sites.
You could also just temporarily move your license from one installation to the other to grab the update, and then add it again to the main site.
Alternatively, you can grab the latest release from your account page at https://account.kreaturamedia.com/ and manually install it: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#installation
Thanks for your reply. Here are my follow-ups.
