Hello. The version of Layer Slider installed on my site was quite old (v4.6). I just purchased a license and updated it to v6.9.2. There are some slight differences in the slider displayed on my page, and I'd like to ask you about them.
In the slider in-question, there are several slides. Previously (i.e. when I had v4.6 installed), the slider would not slide through different slides—the slider would simply display one single slide. Every time the page was refreshed, a different slide would display in the slider. Furthermore, there were no controls on the slider, so the visitor could not scroll through different slides. I was happy with that functionality. But now that I’ve updated to v6.9.2, the slider displays controls (see attached screenshot). Is there a way to return to the previous functionality? i.e. can I
· remove the controls
· ensure the slider does not auto-play
· ensure a different slide displays on every page load.
You can apply these behaviors in the Slider Settings. Under the Slideshow tab you can disable the autoplay and enter "random" to the starting slide field. And the slider controls can be removed in the Navigation Area and Thumbnail Navigation tabs.
