Hello, I purchased this slider but the problem I am having is that the video loads in low resolution. Do you know why this is? I have the video uploaded on YouTube Website Link: https://erwinelectric.com

My client is not happy because they want to see the video load in good resolution even when the page is loading

    thank you

    Hello Ink Graphics,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I have checked your site, but at the moment the video is being displayed in good quality immediately once it starts to play.

Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?

In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ?

Please also make sure that you have set the maximum quality for videos in the Slider Settings -> Video / Audio tab.

    Hello

I didn't fix it, video starts loading in low resolution and then it becomes high resolution, once you go on the website a couple of times it loads better... Is there a way to have it be high resolution the entire time? The problem happens on all browsers. This is very important for my client, they say that other websites do not have this problem

Also noticed that when you see the website on a PC internet explorer the video acts funny when you navigate the website and go to the bottom of it, the video gets stuck on the screen

I am attaching a screenshot that shows the low resolution of the video. Look at how the van looks like

    Thank you for the feedback.

However the video is loading for us on high resolution immediately. There is no loading icon or pixelated display even for a second. This is likely related to a poor internet connection that is taking a long time to load the video.

Unfortunately this behavior cannot be controlled from inside the plugin, the slider only displays what it receives from the video sharing site. This will need to be adjusted in the video player itself (YouTube).

    Hello,

I have another question, at the end of the video slider it shows other YouTube videos. Is there a way to not have that?

I only want to show the video and not the end part where other video thumbnails appear.

Also, is there a way to use a video that is uploaded from our own website? so that maybe it loads in higher resolution and does not show the YouTube controls on Mobile? I see some websites where the video slider looks at a better resolution and does not show other videos from our account

    thank you for your help

The recommended videos at the end is a feature applied by the video player (YouTube). You will be able to disable this in the video's own (YouTube) settings.

You can upload your own videos too as layers. When you create a new video layer, you will see the option 'Add self-hosted HTML 5 video'. This way you can use self hosted videos, that will not be affected by the video sharing website.
