You will need to set a higher z-index value for your menu than the slider to solve this. You can set the z-index for the slider in the Slider Settings -> Appearance -> Custom Slider CSS field by entering z-index:1; or you could even use a negative number, if 1 still does not make it.

In some instances where the image is wide, the slider obscures the drop-down menu thereby impeding the selection of some menu items.

How can this be remedied?
