Unfortunately you cannot change the duration of already created slides together globally. This setting can only be changed separately in each.
Or in case you're in the process of creating new slides. You can set up a base one with the settings you need and duplicate that multiple times, so all slides will have those base settings applied on them.

That seems like a major oversight in the design.
