Hello!  All of my sliders have stopped working.  Can you assist?  I've been a customer for a very long time, and own two of these licenses for the Slider.

    Hello Christine,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

There seems to be a Greensock conflict on the page, causing these errors. There is most likely another item/plugin trying to use Greensock, but does not provide compatibility, thus the issue. Please try to use the LayerSlider WP -> Options -> Advanced -> Include scripts in the footer and Use Greensock (GSAP) sandboxing options to see if they help.

We'd also recommend to update everything on your installation, to make sure that you use the latest release of them. Old plugin/theme versions might load outdated jQuery/Greensock that could result in conflicts like this.

Everything is updated, and I've included scripts in the footer and using GSAP too.  Doesn't seem to work!

    Thanks

    Thank you for the feedback.

To continue troubleshooting please temporarily disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue. If it does, you can turn them back one by one to find the interfering item.

Have you also switched to a default WP theme instead of the current one? It might also be related to the theme, not just plugins. Let us know, thank you.

I have switched themes and it is still not working.  Such a shame.  I love your plugin and it's served me well for years.  In fact, it is still working on the cached site.  For example look at this.  It's great.  So sad :(     https://www.amfm-magazine.com/f1-usgp2014-photo-essay/

    Thank you for the feedback.

Could you please set up a temporary WP login for us, so we can investigate this further in the back-end?

You can post a private reply here with the credentials.

Thank you, but unfortunately the login does not seem to work: Unknown username. Check again or try your email address.

Could you please check on this?

    Thank you, it works now.

My colleagues and I will look into this to see what we can find, and get back to you.

Thank you for your patience. We've confirmed that the issue is coming from an external source (3rd party item). There are strange classes applied on the slider in the front-end, and the code also seems to be compromised. This is not the default slider behavior, that is why we believe it's 3rd party related. The only way we can investigate this further is if we disable other items. Do we have the permission to do that on your installation? Naturally, we will set everything back to normal after.

    Thank you for the feedback.

We meant a 3rd party item, not hacking, you don't have to worry.

We will look into this further and do some testing.

    Thank you for your patience.

We've disabled all of your plugins (except LayerSlider) at once and the issue disappeared. So it is confirmed to be a conflicting 3rd party plugin that is causing the error.

You can test this further and find out which one is responsible exactly, by disabling again all of them and enabling them back one-by-one.
