Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

We are developing a website for a client and added Layer Slider a few days ago. It keeps locking up with a black square rotating in the center of the slider. Whilst this is happening the website is unresponsive in the Chrome browser tab we are using.

If we open another browser i.e. Firefox, the site is responsive but the slider displays without the background images.

WordPress version is 5.3 and all plugins are up to date. Layerslider version is 6.10.0

Host is WPEngine and PHP Version is 7.3

Layerslider has been added to a page which is set as the home page of the website and the editor in use is Gutenberg.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.

    Hello Kirk,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

We've checked the URL you provided, but the slider is working there currently. Could you please provide us with a test page where we can see the problem live to troubleshoot it? Thank you.

Also, your site is loading a lot of content trough HTTP instead of HTTPS (mixed content errors). This could also result in certain issues.
