Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I inherited a site that uses your plugin but it would not update since the license had expired. I just bought a new one for her, but I used her using her email and billing information. I am wondering how I go about activating the license without disturbing the site. The site is somewhat fragile and I am unravelling all of that now as I become more familiar with it and all of its components. Can you offer some or a suggestion to get the software activated without creating any problems for my client and her site?
Bud
Hello Bud,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
Activating LayerSlider should not cause any problems. If it's already installed, you can just enter the license (https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#activation-howto) and it will be activated, and you can even use the auto-update to get the latest release with a few clicks.
Alternatively, you can also delete the current version of plugin and install the newest release. The sliders are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process. This shouldn't disrupt anything either, but it's up to you.
