Hi guys - we use Layerslider and last night suddenly all the images in Layerslider disappeared.
All the layersliders on our site acropss multiple pages are not showing - when going into Layerslider in WP all we can see is 'NO PREVIEW' What is going on?????
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
LayerSlider cannot change or delete its data by itself.
If you are sure that noone touched the sliders or the images in the media library, then it is most likely the result of an external interference. A 3rd party plugin or theme, or server setting could be responsible for this. For example an optimizer/lazy loader/caching plugin that is affecting the images. But if they were removed in the back-end too, it could easily be a server issue.
I'd recommend looking for any (new or newly updated) plugin or theme that could be responsible for this, or anything that was recently changed on your installation. You could also contact your host to see if they changed something (for example database or other updates) recently that resulted in this.
In the meantime, you could try to restore the sliders. There is an option called Revisions in LayerSlider, if you roll the sliders back to an earlier state, and the images are still available, they should be back to normal.
