Im trying to ascertain the best resolution/settings for my sliders.    This slider at the above URL is meant to be a splash screen as well as provide a quick snapshot of current specials, promotions, or seasonal events.  On larger wide screen monitors it displays just fine.   However, on smaller screen laptops even set on max resolution a lot of clipping and graphic distortion occurs.    I was wondering if there is a setting that will adjust that automatically or something i can do on my end to keep them even keel.   Please reference the attachments for more clarity and understanding of the problem.  I dont want to put anything on the website that states "best view in XXX XXX resolution if I dont have to.  Ideally I guess what I am looking for is some type of adaptive setting to keep the slider fully viewable to each different type of resolution.

These sliders are disabled for mobile and that is how we want it.

    Hello Srmyofdux2019,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Since version 6 of LayerSlider you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. This only works on the layer level and with the pre-defined devices.

Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two (or even more) sliders with different sizes or with different content/position for separate screen sizes, include them to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required screen size/device. This gives you more control, but requires more work.

That's not what I asked at all.   Please re-read my original post.   This is in regard to different resolutions on computers only.

And that is what I've answered to. Please re-read my previous reply. The second approach can be applied to computers only, so it fits your case. As mentioned, using the Hide over and Hide under options you can swap out multiple sliders based on screen size/resolution. And each of these sliders can be corrected to fit the viewing environment better. You can leave the base of the slider as is, and only do minor changes to the positions or layout. Basically, you can build two sliders, one for 'wide screen monitors' and one for 'smaller laptop screens', insert them both to the page and the pugin will swap them out based on the values you add to the mentioned settings.
