How do I activate layerslider which was bundled with a theme. I would like to update 6.2.2 to latest version, but the plugin does not list such an option even after I purchased a license.

It seems the 6.2.2 version was too far outdated to do the activation. Every time I tried to enter the plugin's admin interface it bombed out. So I had to delete the old version and install the newer version. I was very impressed when I found all the slides I created still in tact. It auto safed on the server and was integrated with the new version.

You can find the LayerSlider product activation box on the main page of the plugin's admin interface. Open LayerSlider and you will see it right under the sliders list: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#activation-howto
You can add your license there.

Unfortunately some themes are restricting the update and/or activation method of the plugin that could result in problems like this.
But glad you managed to reinstall it and that solved the problem.
Your sliders and settings are stored in the database, so they won't be deleted in a reinstalling process.
