    Hello Eric,

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

    You have two options to create a different look for mobile.

    Since version 6 of LayerSlider you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. Furthermore, you also have the option to set a minimum font size for texts on mobiles.

    Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for desktop and mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Slider Settings -> Mobile -> Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device. This gives you more control, but requires more work. But if you already have the two sliders ready, this should be the better approach.

    Thank you ,  ... I made a different layer and assigned it to mobile only , i hide everything else ( in the slide for desktop ) but it wont let me hide , or i cant find where to hide the "background picture" from the main slide i want on desktop, so it always shows on mobile , unless i "HIDE" on mobile and in that case the layer assigned to mobile also disappears.

    I tried the hide under and hide over but didnt work,  maybe i have the wrong settings , i use pixels there im assuming? but it doesnt say, thank you for any help !

    The device specific feature is only available for layers currently. So you can only show/hide layers with it, but not slide backgrounds or other slider settings. It's only for layer level.

    The Hide under and Hide over settings are indeed interpreted in pixels.

    Usually these are the sizes:
    desktop computers Screen width > 1024px
    tablets Screen width >= 768px and <= 1024px
    phones Screen with <= 767px
