I downloaded the interactive slider from the layer slider homepage. upon installing I noticed the images on the map would display different from the layerslider screen. I would like to have the images on the map line up with the boxes on the map.

    Hello Solomon,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I've checked your site and it seems like that the problem is going to be related to an image preloader/optimizer/lazy loader on your installation, that is interfering with the images in the slider. That is why they do not act the same as originally.

Please look around on your installation and search for any plugin/theme/method that is affecting the images on the page and try to exclude LayerSlider from it. If you're not sure what it is, you could try to temporarily disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue. If it does, you can turn them back one by one to see which one is interfering.

If you are using Jetpack, I'd recommend to start with that. We had several issues with it in the past, as its lazy load option interferes with the slider's content.

    Atilla,

thanks for the quick response. the BJ Lazy Load app was causing the issue.

are there any recommended image preloaders to use with layer slider.

You should be able to use Jetpack too, you just need to disable its option that is causing the issue. The rest of the plugin does not interfere, only the options that affect images in the slider. I'd recommend to try out what options are problematic, disable them and leave the rest on.

Or alternatively, if Jetpack provides an option for it, you could exclude LayerSlider from its target list, so it does not affect the sliders, but keep working on the rest of the page.
