Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Hello,
Using Avada theme. I managed to activate Google fonts and use these in the slider, but Font Awesome Pro icons do not show up as available. They do work within Avada as such, but not within the slider.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Cheers
Peter
Hello Peter,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
How did you add these icons to the slider exactly ? Also, could you please show us a test page with this, so we can take a look at the slider ? Thank you.
Hello Attila,
The page is not live yet. However, the problem is not just one specific slider. I can not find a way to insert a FontAwesome icon anywhere into the LayerSlider. They FA Icons are available to me within the Avada theme, so I can use them in HTML just buy using <i class="fal fa-plane-departure"></i> as an example. But how can I add them anywhere onto the LayerSlider is beyond me. I guess the question is: (How) Can you use FontAwesome Icons in LayerSlider?
Cheers
FontAwesome is a 3rd party item, that has no relation to us. Naturally, there is no dedicated option for it in our plugin.
But you can add content to sliders from external sources with shortcode for example. You can create an HTML layer and copy the shortcode to its content field. The corresponding content should be displayed on the front-end.
