Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Plugin interface (add slider button, etc.) doesn't work on fresh install of Wordpress, for a website hosted on Siteground. There are no other themes or plugins activated.

Please note that there is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.9.1.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem on your installation or a server configuration issue.
If you do not have any other plugins/themes installed yet, then it's likely server error related. Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WP sidebar, for any related error messages that could provide more information.
You could also reinstall the plugin, in case it became corrupted during installation somehow.

The System Status shows no errors. I've also reinstalled the plugin numerous times, to no effect.
