    Dear,

I am glad to know LayerSlider. It is very wonderful and solve lots of problem. However, I met a problem about post slides.

The post slides has been set successfully and works pretty well. To achieve better performance, I would like to set specific post category for these slides to show specific posts. Is there any method for this?

In addition, I would like to let visitors to enter the article through the post slides. However, the title and feature image of post slides could not be clicked by visitors. Is there any solution for this?

    Look forward to your reply.

    Best regards,

    Lin

    Hello Lin,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

The filters used in the Configure Post Options tab are global, so they are applied on all slides in the slider. Because of that, you cannot use separate filters for individual slides unfortunately. But as a workaround you can select all categories globally for all slides (ctrl/shift + click). That way you can choose from each on all slides. Also, you can only use one post per slide at the moment.

We are planning to improve dynamic content handling in the future, so it provides more flexibility, but currently these are the limitations. Thank you for your understanding.

As for the clickable post images/texts. Please make sure that those layers are not covered by other layers (they are on top of the layer list), and that the slide linking does not cover them either. Please also make sure that there are no other elements overlapping them on page, that could cover them, preventing the clicking.

    Hi Attila,

    Thank you for the reply.

The specific category has been indicated to the post slides as global setting following your advice. However, I found another problem. Sometimes the feature image and post title are not from the same post. Is there any solution for this?

In addition, the design is necessary for the website. I cannot remove it. Is it possible to solve this issue by code?

    Look forward to your reply.

When multiple elements are on top of each other, only the upmost one will be able to interact with user clicks. So if there are other elements over the slider, covering it, unfurtunately it will not be clickable. If you would like the slider buttons/texts to be clickable, it cannot be under other page elements.

As for the featured image and post title being different. Please check on your filters, order and other dynamic content settings. It might not be set up the way you want it. Another possibility is that some posts do not have a featured image or post title, so the next one will be pulled.
