    Hello,
if I use the setting: keep this layer visible - forever (the layer will never animate out) it does not work in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge 15-17. The layer is to see for a moment and then disappears.
In all the other browsers I tested it works fine. However, also it should not be that way and the browsers are crap, there needs to be a way to work around.
Do you have any suggestions with this?
    Regards, Rupert

added files how it looks in original and in ie and edge

    Hello Rupert,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I've tested your site using IE and Edge, and the slider was displaying its layers fine. They did not disappear at all. Please see attached screenshots.

I'm not sure what emulator did you use to test this, but on the actual browsers, it was working fine for me.

    Hello Attila,
the screenshot you added shows "the rest" of the slider. Means that most layers are there but the basic layer disappears. See my screenshot as comparison. Or see the same slider in firefox, opera, chrome etc.
They all have a layer more. What we see on your screenshot are the added "Blend layers".
But its true, they stay and are to see. Which makes it even more puzzling to me.

    Regards, Rupert

It seems to be the exact same on other browers too. Chrome, FF and Opera all shows the same. An initial text layer that animates out, then the sun and 8 circles with text and a moving background stays.

    Hello Attila,

why don´t you look on the two screenshots I added. They look very different. One is what I hopefully created in layerslider, the other is what IE and Edge will show.

This should clarify what gets lost.

    Hello Attila,
I found out what it is about.
In IE the blend layer does not make a blend layer, but takes over the layer. So it does not blend, but just takes over the layer.

You can see this very well in your beautiful sunset slider in IE,
    https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/sliders/beautiful-sunset/

However, the question is, how do I work around this. I do not want to give up the blend fully. But maybe I give it up in IE. Is there a coding so I can adress in IE another slider than in all other browsers? Means slider 1 would show normally, but only IE and Edge show slider 2.

Because then I would only for this take out the blend layers.

I hope you understand what I mean, gets difficult to explain this clearly in English.
    Regards, Rupert

    Thank you for the feedback.

Internet Explorer is an outdated browser, that is no longer supported by its creator. So it does not really fit the modern requirements anymore. Thus, there might be issues with certain transitions/effects that are too complex for it to handle. Unfortunately there is not much we can do about it, as it's a borwser restriction. This is why the blend mode might not work on it. Also, IE does not support the "filter" CSS property either, that is why the shadows are missing from the slider on it. Sadly, this is also an IE limitation.

Unfortunately there is no way to build sliders only for certain browsers. You can do it for different devices and different sizes, but it's not possible for different browsers currently.

Thank you for your response. I know that IE is no good as a browser. Yet it also happens on Edge - and too many people use it. Thanks anyway, will need to consider anew what I will do about this.
