When I add a slider to a WP page using a widget, activating it requires selecting a slider via dropdown in the section titled "Slider Settings: Below Masthead." However, there's only one such dropdown. Using this method, I can additional Sliders via widget but I'm only given the option to activate one. How do I add multiple sliders to a page?
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
You can add sliders several ways to your site. Please refer to the following section of the documentation: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#publishing-sliders It details every available built-in method that the plugin provides for you, and also mentions external methods such as Gutenber or theme/page builders. There is no limit to how many sliders you can embed to a page.
However, there is only one slider added to that page. LayerSlider ID#3 is the only one inserted. There are no additional ones. It's not that they are hidden or not showing, there is no other slider on the page.
It might be possible, that option can only contain one element/slider at a time. Please use the described methods instead, to insert sliders to your page: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#publishing-sliders These can be used to embed multiple sliders without any problem.
Adding sliders to mastheads is definitely not the recommended method. Please add it to your pages (body) directly, as its described in the documentation, not to the mastheads.
Please set up a temporary WP login for us, so we can check on your setup and what might be wrong. You can send a private reply here, that noone else sees. Thank you.
Now I can't get LayerSliders to show up at all in new test pages. I've downgraded to a default template, and de-activated all the other plugins. Everything the troubleshooting page says to do.
Frankly, I'm a week in now on trying to get basic functionality with LayerSlider and starting to get pretty cynical.
Thank you for the feedback. We've tested it and found the problem. There seems to be a rare bug in the slider implementation method through Gutenberg blocks. No other user experienced it before, so it seems to be a unique case on your installation, regardless we are going to release a fix for it. The update that contains it should be ready by tomorrow. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Hi - total newbie here! How do I add multiple sliders to a page?
Example:
https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/ seems to have the side-scrolling slider at the top and then a down-scrolling slider (or several) beneath.

Hi, Attila! Nice to meet you.
So, I'm using Gutenberg and here's what I mean when I mention the section titled "Slider Settings: Below Masthead." https://cl.ly/aceee27b3481
I can ADD multiple sliders, but only ONE is visible when I test the page.

Please show us your site or a test page where we can check on this.
Unfortunately that password is incorrect. I cannot login with it.
My bad. It should work now. Thanks, Attila!
Thank you, it works now.

Well here's what the Edit screen looks like: https://cl.ly/6c38bbecb592
It thinks there are two sliders included in the page.
Could it have something to do with the "Slider Settings: Below Masthead." https://cl.ly/aceee27b3481
Thanks, Attilla.

That WAS the method described in your document. I used Gutenberg. And I'm having a problem.

It was always below the masthead.

Thank you, we were able to login with it.
What page should we use for testing exactly ? Or where would you like us to do any tweaking ?
We don't want to change anything without your permission.
Why not take a look at https://www.liveactionattractions.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=292&action=edit
That's the page with multiple layerSliders and only one visible. Thanks.

In the meantime you can use shortcodes to add sliders to your site. Only the Gutenberg blocks are affected.
