Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
You can find the settings of the Ken Burns effect in your Slide Settings by clicking on the "Show more options" button. The Ken Burns feature cannot be triggered by hover, however, there are alternative ways to simulate the same effect with layers.
For example, you can set up an image layer with dimensions large enough to cover the entire canvas of the slider. Then, under the Transitions tab of the layer you can set the scale, rotation and other properties that is needed for the effect. For the final step, enable the Global Hover feature in the above mentioned Slide Settings section, so the transition will be triggered when you move your mouse cursor over the slider.
If there would be an issue with overlapping layers, you can grab a layer by its handle in the list and move up or down to control which layer covers the other.
I been trying for a couple hours of accomplishing this effect, can you tell me if this possible. I will send you a link to a page.On top will be the ken burn effect i'm looking for and on bottom will be where I would like the ken burns effect to happen on hover. I will also send a screen shot of where I would like the effect to happen for clarity.
I'm afraid there is no way to achieve this with the built-in options at the moment. We have big plans on how to extend LayerSlider's capabilities and we will consider adding the necessary options in a future version.
How can I enable the ken burns effects on hover?
