    Hi,

I can't figure out the correct settings of the home slider here http://www.dieselairstarters.com/ so that the slides are full screen. Video and background pictures are size 1920x1150, same as the slider layout. My slider appears with a scroll bar on the side and a bottom - both I do not want. Details of my settings attached.

    Please help me.

    Many Thanks
    Simplex

    Hello Simplex,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I have checked your site, but for me the slider and its content are fullscreen currently, even if I resize the browser. And there are no scrollbars either. Please see attached screenshot.

Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?

In any case, if you would like to set up a fullscreen slider, you will need to use the Full Size layout with Hero Scene mode. As for the layers, you can make them always fill the slides by either adding them as slide backgrounds, or by applying 100% width and height on them if they are normal layers. This way, they will always match the slider's sizes.

    Hi Attila,

    many thanks for your reply.

My settings: Full Size layout with Hero Scene mode. Video layer 100% width and 100%height.

Please see attached the first slide which is a video. Yellow marked corners left top and bottom and the full right side are not covered with the video. The picture slides all have this rounded corner which I do not know how to correct.

    Many Thanks
    Petra

That video layer does not seem to be set to 100% width and height. It's just set to pixels currently.

Please verify that you have applied these dimensions on the correct layer in its Styles tab.

Also, empty any cache you might be using, so the changes go live.

    Hi Attila,

I have corrected the video layer to 100% width and height and it fits full screen now. Many Thanks!
Can you please also point out how to change the round edges on each slide corner.

    Thanks
    Petra

I'd recommend to look around in the Styles tab of the layer, as well as checking whether there is a custom CSS being applied on it or on the slider. Also, verify that the video itself is not rounded.
