Hi I am having issues with the layer slider regarding buttons and text on mobile devices. For buttons, if I set the size to auto or anything else they are tiny on mobile and often the text is pushed outside the button (which remains tiny) if I set minimum font sie. Is this plugin not compatible with retina screens?

I tried instead of a button to use a text layer but add a link to it, this worked better as I could set the minimum font size, but if the text layer has a background colour, then it is tiny the same as the button in that the background does not resize.

    Please advise.

    Hello Sam,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

If you need advanced control over the slider on small screen or on mobiles. You can use the device specific layers. Since version 6 of LayerSlider you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. Essentially, adjust their sizes accordingly.

Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for desktop and mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device. This gives you more control, but requires more work.

Hi Attila, thanks for your reply. Can you advise as to the points in my question regarding buttons being really small and not enlarging when I increase the font size? For example if I put the font size as 24, the button will not increase in size with the font and the font is then too big for the button. So, even though you offer different layouts per device, it will still look broken on mobile.

Please show us your site or a test page with the slider, where we can check on this. Thank you.
