I added 4 image layers to a single slide brand new slider, 4 hot tubs for this weeks sale.

I placed them 4 square, put some text layers with the name and price.

Looked at the page, looks good, time to add links.

Then I added links to the images to the full ad for each one using Links & Attributes.

When I add a link to the image, they show up in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

I've tried CSS (absolute vs relative, etc...)  I've changed each and EVERY SINGLE setting for 3 days and no combination works.

The moment I add a link to anything to ANY image layer, the image displays in the upper left hand corner of the slider, no matter the settings.  Now... if I go click Change Link and remove the link and refresh, walla!  The image reappears where it is supposed to be.

If I add links to all the images, they all stack on top of each other in the upper left hand corner.  This is a new slide with a newly licensed layerslider with the Enfold theme and all other plugins aside from WooCommerce are disabled.

If I add a link to any other type of layer item, they do not change position.  If I preview the slide, the error does NOT occur.

Again this ONLY happens adding a link to an image layer (which is the MOST important function for me) and the moment you remove the link, the image behaves normally again.

It is worse on mobile, the image stops obeying placement and sizing commands when a link is added.

    Hello Alanhelmick,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Please note that there is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.8.4.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem on your installation, with another item that is affecting the slider. Probably an image optimizer/lazy loader that interferes with the images in the slider.

To start troubleshooting please temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue.

Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WP sidebar, for any related error messages that could provide more information.

I wonder if it's the server itself.  I will disable the Apache Pagespeed plugin on the server and test.  I already have the latest image slider 6.8.4 and I already tested on a vanilla Wordpress with no other plugins.  Must be the server.  I will spin up a new server and test and report.
