    Hello Toluwaleke,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Problems with the activation method such as this, are usually related to server configuration issues unfortunately.

Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WordPress sidebar, for any messages or notifications that could provide additional information on this case.

Also, what is the exact error you are getting ?

    Let us know. Thank you.

This is the error it keeps giving. I have complained to wordpress support, but i was redirected to you. Stating that you will be in the best position to navigate through this issue

    Thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately the actual error is missing from this message, so it does not tell us much.

Have you checked the LayerSlider System Status, as detailed in the previous response ?

Thank you for the feedback. In that case, it is most likely a web server configuration issue (PHP error), but currenty the exact error message is not visible as the WP debug mode is not enabled. Please enable it and look for any PHP errors in the logs that could provide more information.

If you're not familiar with it, your hosting provider can do it for you. They have access to the error logs and possess the necessary permissions to debug this. Please contact your host and request that they look into this server problem.

In the meantime please also look for any incompatibility problems by temporary disabling other plugins and switching to a default WP theme, and then activating. It's not likely, but sometimes there are edge cases. So you can do this, just to make sure that it's not caused by a 3rd party item.

Yes, that is also what I meant by activation.

Enabling the WP debug mode does nothing by itself. It's just a tool that lets you further troubleshoot.

Unfortunately as this is a server problem, we cannot do anything about it from our end. Not even with a WP login, as the problem is not in LayerSlider.

This issue will have to be adjusted in the server settings. Now that the WP debug mode is enabled, the error should be showing in the logs.

As mentioned, your host can address this issue further. They can adjust the necessary server settings after identifying what is causing this exactly from the error logs.

There are no error logs for your site right now, so if you have already tried deactivating other plugins and switching to a default theme and this still didn't resolve the issue, I would recommend replying back to the LayerSlider report team to let them know that there are no error logs, and ask if they have any other recommendations. Since this is a third-party plugin, we aren't able to provide advanced support if there is an issue with the plugin itself.

this was wordpress' response to what you said. there are no errors and i would please need other recomendations

I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what do you mean by that it's WordPress' response. You will need to contact your hosting provider with this case. Not WP or Envato support. Unfortunately they cannot help, only your server host has the necessary permissions and tools to troubleshoot and correct this.
