Good morning, I've been using LayerSlider WP for quite some time. I inserted one in the home of my website: http://azionisti.info/ but I have more problems: 1. some items in the drop-down menu are hidden when I want to access them from the home. 2. Sometimes it just doesn't appear on the home page. 3. Does not appear in the home if you access the website from a smartphone.
I tried using another template but it's always the same thing. Today I also bought the license hoping to solve the problem without getting results: until now, I used it in the version I was given when I bought the wordpress theme.
How can I solve these problems? Please help me. Waiting for your reply, I thank you in advance.
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
I have checked your site, but for me the slider is being displayed consistently on it. It is also present on mobiles, I've used both an Android and iOS device to test it.
Have you managed to fix these problems in the meantime ? In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ? Or how we can reproduce these errors ? Because we do not see these issues on our end.
I do not see any issue with the menu either, but if the menu elements were under the slider, you could adjust that by setting a higher z-index value for your menu than the slider. You can set the z-index for the slider in the Slider Settings -> Appearance -> Custom Slider CSS field by entering z-index:1; or you could use an even lower number if 1 still does not make it.
Hi Attila, in the meantime I have disabled all the plugins and I'm trying to reactivate them one at a time, but I didn't understand where the problem originates or which plugin comes into conflict. It is true that now you can also see it on mobile devices, but I don't like the type of display on the desktop PC because it covers the entire display area and the menu. How can I change? Thank you very much for the availability given to me.
You can change the slider layout in the Slider Settings -> Layout tab. As for where the slider is positioned on the page, that is completely up to you. You can insert it wherever you want on pages, it depends on the parent element. For example, if you are using a page builder, you will need to embed the slider to a different block/element that is not covering the menu and is positioned further down the page. You can also use the plugin's default inserting methods: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#publishing-sliders
You also have the option to adjust the slider for different devices/screens, called device specific layers. This feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device.
Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for desktop/mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device. This gives you the most control, but requires more work.
