Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
After updating to 6.8.4, the layer that are images (24bit pngs) appear to be present, but never show up, just the backgrounds. They are visible in the editor, but do not show up in the sliders. Not sure when this started, but it wasn't present when we went live a few weeks back.
Image URLs in the data-lazy-srcset work.
Rolled back production to a working state from last week. Issue can be seen on idsystaging.wpengine.com
Hello Id-systems,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
The problem is caused by Jetpack, more specifically its lazy load feature. It interferes with the slider's content (images), preventing them from loading properly. You can confirm this by temporary disabling it.
To solve this, you will need to exclude LayerSlider from Jetpack's lazy load method. Our plugin already has its own lazy load, and loads its images dynamically.
Thanks! That was it!
Thank you for the feedback, glad you could solve the problem.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
