I want to create a full width slider with a background vimeo video and 3 simple text slides with a callout. I don't see any templates with a background video.
Can you please tell me how to do this?

The option to set a video as background is in the Content tab of the respective video layers. You add it as a Video /Audio layer type and then click on the Use this video as slide background button.
Seems like it should be pretty straight forward to make a single slide, Hero slider, with a background video and text and a button CTA. All of the templates are very complicated, animated sliders.
Do you have a simple background hero slider template or can you help guide me on creating one. I purchased this plugin to do this and have not been able to figure out how this is accomplished.
All of the demo sliders are included to the Template Store, you can check them out and import them, there are also simple basic ones.
What you're looking to achieve is fairly simple. The hero slider layout can be set in the Slider Settings. The background video can be applied in the previously mentioned way. And the text and button can be added as layers.
There are many source materials available you can check, that will help you get started using LayerSlider. The documentation contains detailed information and examples that you can read on the following URL: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/ You can also read the interactive tooltip & notification messages integrated into the Slider Builder interface, with descriptions of the settings by hovering over each one of them. There are also video tutorials available on video sharing sites, for example, on YouTube. They were created by other users or authors, but still, they can be helpful. Finally, you can import the mentioned demo sliders from the Template Store to see what settings we used and how we set them up exactly.

Will this work on an Iphone? Will the video display on an iphone?
Are there any tutorials on this? I'm still a bit confused. Please point me to any tutorials or videos on this.
