after having had to purchase Layerslider again for no reason (It said used it on another page which I do not have) I spent the money again (!) and now I am running continously into probems: I simply cannot delete any sliders! They just re-appear again. Can you please have a look?
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
You do not have to buy a new license for the same site. You can just use the online tool that we have launched to manage and reset the activations of your purchase code, please refer to the following URL: https://kreaturamedia.com/reset-activations It is also mentioned in the documentation. With this, you can remove any earlier (possibly deleted/stuck) activation and use the license again.
As for the problem, first please check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WP sidebar, for any potential error messages that could provide more information. Also, do you use any kind of caching on your installation, that could affect the plugin and reverse changes made to your sliders ?
thanks for your reply. Since I already rebought the license is there the possibility for a refund? The plugin was simply not working anymore and I needed to act fast thus I bought it. I do nit have teh time to look at all the plugin documentations etc and there wasn't anything popping up in the plugin itself which I would have expected with such a big change.
To my problem_ I attached two screenshots, one of the options menu and another one of the front end which I keep seeing and cannot get rid of. I indeed use comet cache but first deleted the cache and tried again, then deactivated the plugin and both screenshots were taken after deactivtaion - so no change to my problem.
If you are not planning to use the newly purchased license, please open a refund request for it on Envato. We can accept it there. Thank you.
That notification is there because the respective slider shortcode is still inserted to your site, but the slider related to its ID is no longer available. Did you mean to remove that notification ? I was under the impression that you cannot delete sliders in the plugin. But if that notification is there, you did remove at least one slider. So, do you want to remove that red notification instead ? If yes, you will simply need to remove the slider shortcode (or any other method you used to insert it) from the page.
