Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Hey, my product code is not activating in WP backend. It says "working" once you pop in the code, but it never moves on from there. Just hangs. Then when you go back in it says - "activate now" again.
Any fix?
Thanks, Edward.
Hello Edward,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
Problems with the activating method such as this, are usually related to server configuration issues unfortunately.
Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WordPress sidebar, for any error messages or notifications that could provide additional information on this case.
Hello Atilla,
Thanks for your reply.
After going to options and status as you suggested here is how I see the problem.
If you look at the attached, I am not on the most up to date version.
I cannot update until I verify.
I cannot verify because I am not on the latest version.
You can see the circular, never ending nature of my issue.
Can you suggest a way to fix?
Best regards
An older plugin version cannot be the reason for activation failure. If you do not see any other error in the System Status, then unfortunately it could be a conflict problem with a 3rd party item on your installation.
To start troubleshooting please temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if you can activate and update that way.
Let us know.
If i switch to a default WP theme will this not mess up my site when i go back?
I do not believe that it would break anything, but you could start with the plugins first, to check if it's plugin related or not.
