Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
I have checked your site using both Safari and Firefox, but for me the slider is being displayed the same as on Chrome. Please see attached screenshots.
Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?
In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser version/device are you experiencing this exactly ?
No - those pictures are not correct. What you are seeing is the broken Slider. The images are floating off to the left when they (4 of them) should be on top of the grey empty boxes. Its also broken on Safari mobile as well so could you please check on that as well.
Its broken on Chrome now as well. So the good news is that it seems broken across the board. We imported it from one of your premium demos.
By correct I mean what you are seeing is correct. But what you are seeing is also broken. It needs fixing and shouldn't look that way.
On mobile - the 4 pictures (same as on homepage should stack on top of each other) But they are not showing. I am assuming once the positioning issue on the homepage is resolved it will be resolved on mobile. *see image
The images were swapped out after the Interactive Premium Slider demo was installed... it was a background of a world with places where the small rectangle images are. It has been working fine for 2 years. There isn't an issue with the sources as nothing as changed. *see image of slider components in backend. Also - if it was a source issue the image links would be broken and not show.
We've looked into this further with the dev team and we believe that the problem is most likely related to some kind of image preloader/optimizer/lazy loader solution on your installation, that interferes with the images on the front-end, preventing them from appearing.
Please look for any similar plugin/theme method/script that you might be using and fits into this case, and exclude LayerSlider from its target list to see if that helps.
If you're not sure what might be causing this, you could temporary disable all other plugins and switch to a default WP theme. After that enable them back one by one to find the culprit.
Ok so I turned off the option for lazy loading images... this option improves site performance. Are you saying that I need to sacrifice site wide performance for your slider to work on the home page?
Did that solve the issue ? If yes, you do not have to turn it off site wide, only exclude LayerSlider from its methods, so it does not affect the images in the slider. LayerSlider also has its own lazy load, so it shouldn't be a problem. You can keep it active on the rest of your site regardless, just prevent it from applying on LayerSlider.
I've checked on the site again and the images are there now, both in Firefox and Safari, the same as in Chrome.
It might have needed some time to take effect (or the cache to catch up) and you didn't see it immediately. But now it seems to be working fine in all browsers.
Thanks - I need to be able to use lazy image loading site wide for performance. I can't have these feature unavailable on the entire site because of the slider. How can I accomplish this?
You could exclude LayerSlider from the target list of this lazy load method. This way you can keep it active site wide, and only disable it on LayerSlider sliders.
Unfortunately we are not familiar with this lazy load plugin or method you are using, but they usually provide an option to exclude files/plugins/scripts. If you can't find such thing, I'd recommend to contact its author. They should be able to provide you with details on how you can achieve this.
Slider isn't working in Safari or Firefox. Works OK in Chrome *see attachement
I am using latest version of slider and latest version of WP and latest version of Avada
Please advise. Thank you

As I can see there's something wrong with their source.
How exactly did you add those images ? Could you please try to re-add them as normal image layer types ?

Please set up a temporary WP login for us, so we can check on your slider and settings. Thank you.
Thank you. My colleagues and I will look into this to see what we can find, and get back to you shortly.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Sorry -
The issue is not resolved and I have turned off Lazy Load in the parent theme site wide to test and it still exists. Can you please take another look?
Thank you
Thank you for the feedback.

You could exclude LayerSlider from the target list of this lazy load method. This way you can keep it active site wide, and only disable it on LayerSlider sliders.
How do I do that? The option is a global setting which says Lazy Load - ON/OFF. that's it.
