Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays.     Hi,

    I purchased a new license and did a upgrade. It shows v. 6.0.5. Should I go up all the way to 6.8.2?

    Yes, the latest version is 6.8.2. It is recommended to update to that release. It contains many improvements, fixes and so on.

    Hi Attila,

    Thanks for your prompt reply. I guessed there are two upgrades from 5 to 6.8.2. I need to upgrade it to 6.0.5 first and then upgrade it 6.8.2. 

    I just upgraded it. I will see.

    There are no multiple steps to this. You can update it right away to the latest release. You can find detailed update instructions in the documentation if you would like to read it: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#updating

    In case the update only provides you with v6.0.5., what I can think of is that your theme also includes the plugin, and the bundled version is at that version number. Preventing the plugin from further updates and newer versions.
