I've created one slider and it works. When I created a second slider, it is connected to the first and when I run the first it completes then runs the second. How do I create an independent slider that I use for another page on my website?
I've tried creating a new slider and also duplicating an existing one (so I have all the same parameters) but the problem persists. When I run any slider, it runs through all of them.

I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what do you mean by that. Sliders are not connected to each other. Are you referring to slides or sliders ? Are you trying to set up separate slides ?
Please show us your site or a test page where we can see this.
Perhaps I'm not saying it clearly. I have 20 books and I want to create a slider for each of them. They will each have one slide and be unique for each of the books.
I've created a slider with a format that I want all of the books to follow. After that one slider, I want 19 more that are independent and representing separate books.
I "duplicated" the first slider (to have the same parameters) and it appears under the first slider. When I run the first slider, it ends then goes to the second.
I "created" a new slider and if I look at the original slider, the new slide appears along with it and when run, I see both slides.
For example: When I load a slide(r) from the template store, it is stand alone. I can run it and the slideshow stops. Likewise when I run one of my sliders it doesn't transition to the template slide. It is and independent slider.
I want independent sliders that aren't connected to others. Does that clarify my question?
Separate sliders are not connected to each other in any way. And there's no option to run multiple "chained" sliders after each other. So I assume that you're referring to slides.
If you would like separate sliders then you have to create them back at the sliders list on the main page, not adding new slides inside an already existing slider. This way they will be 'independent'.
And if you're duplicating sliders to keep the settings, make sure to edit over the first slide that is already there, and not add a second new one.
