Sure, the two plugins can work together. You should be able to include WooCommerce content to the slider, with shortcodes for example.
However please note that LayerSlider and Woocommerce are two completely different plugins. They are working together, but they are not integrated into each other or related in any other way. LayerSlider is a standalone item, it was not meant to replace any Woocommerce functions.
