Sliders not displaying correctly

    This might be an isolated issue, but still happening and concerned it is affecting site visitors. I have layer sliders for my home page (https://WaileaEkahiVillage.com). All seems to work well most browsers, but on one computer, at my office, it does not work. The images are scrambled (see attached). The below is what is not working.

    Mac OS = 10.14.3

    Bowser = Chrome Version 72.0.3626.121

    I have tried on this same computer with Safari and FireFox and all works. I've also tried Chrome on my iMac at home and all works. So the error seems to be on this particular browser / computer. I've cleared all cache / cookies, etc.

    Thank you - Matt

    Hi Matt,

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

    It seems there's a Chrome rendering bug that affects the site when you're zoomed in. For me with the same OS and browser versions it's okay with 100% or 125%, but at 110% I experience the same issue.

    It caused us some headache while we've figured it out recently. We're looking into ways how we could avoid this, but it's likely that Chrome needs a patch itself. It doesn't affect all sliders, there are factors that triggers this issue, and it's likely connected how Chrome handles hardware acceleration.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the feed back. Any solutions form our end? As in a different type of slider?

    I changed the zoom in  /out and that didn't do anything for me. There are 3 images in this slider, and one of the 3 images views correctly. It also works in other combinations of Chrome / Mac OS.

    Thanks - Matt

    It's not clear when the issue comes at play. We're still investigating this, but since it's a browser issue, it might as well be just completely random. The transitions you set might have an impact. For the time being we can't provide any solution from our end.

    If you check our website, you can see that our sliders are working with Chrome even when zoomed-in.  Chrome is also our main browser  for development, so we're doing everything we can to avoid such issues. Nevertheless, bugs affect big and small project alike, and Chrome isn't an exceptions. In cases like this often the best thing we can do is to report it and hope they fix it soon.

    Anyway, did you try to refresh the page after changing the zoom level? Or maybe even restarting the browser? It would be logical that the other devices are fine because they are on 100% zoom.
