I can no longer see any thumbnail navigation on my existing sliders after upgrading from ver 5.x to most recent 6.x version.
Current settings on existing sliders-->Thumbnail navigation:
Thumbnail navigation = Always
Thumbnail container width = 100%
Thumbnail width = 200
thumbnail height = 160
active thumbnail opacity = 35
inactive thumbnail opacity = 100

I think I found it :-) The slide navigation buttons must be enabled to use thumbnail navigation. So now it is working fine.

Got it. I now see the slide navigation thumbnails and the setting to turn the on:
Slider Setting --> Navigation Area--> Show Prev & Next buttons --> enable "Show slide navigation buttons"
